Our Programs

3 Year Old & 4 Year Old Programs

Through hands-on and open-ended learning experiences, our 3 and 4-year-old programs aim to reflect children’s emerging interests and abilities, promote creativity and exploration, curiosity and reflect different cultures and learning styles.

Our philosophy and programming are guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the National Early Years Framework (EYLF) and underpinned by the National Quality Standards (NQS) as well as through a range of curriculum approaches such as a play-based pedagogy, child-centred, emergent based learning, and intentional teaching practices that are purposeful and may be pre-planned and spontaneous to support goals.

The spacious 4YO room is a well-arranged environment to help our children’s needs during play and routines, materials for play are well organised for group experiences with attention to all learners. It promotes a sense of comfort and invites exploration and engagement, independence, easy use, and learning.

We believe children learn best in environments where they have secure relationships with caring and responsive adults and feel safe and free to explore and learn.
